Qatar Data Centre Capacity Comes Online Ahead of Schedule

MEEZA, Qatar's leading managed IT services and data centre provider, has completed a 4 megawatt data centre expansion nine months ahead of its contractual deadline, handing the facility over to a global hyperscaler on 21 June 2026. The early delivery gives the customer a faster path to deploying cloud and AI workloads in the Gulf, at a time when Gulf enterprises are racing to scale their AI infrastructure to meet rising enterprise demand.

The expansion, first announced in early 2025, is secured under a long term agreement valued at more than QAR 350 million over a period exceeding ten years. It adds capacity to MEEZA's existing network of five certified M VAULT data centres, which the company says offer guaranteed uptime of 99.98 percent.

For enterprise technology buyers across the Gulf, delivery speed has become as important as capacity itself.
